Privacy notice

Version of 27 October 2026. This is a translation of the Italian notice: if they differ, the Italian text prevails.

Who processes your data

The data controller is Luigi Loperfido, a natural person and founder of the LuceMed project (Rome, Italy). The company has not yet been incorporated: when it is, we will let you know before transferring the data to it. For any request: [email protected].

What data we collect

If you join the first doctors (main page):

  • your email and the role you choose;
  • your specialty: «anaesthesia» if you are an anaesthetist or anaesthesia resident, or the one you write if you choose «Other»;
  • your year of residency, if you are a resident and you tell us;
  • whether you want to try the demo first;
  • your consent, with the date and the version of this notice;
  • where you came from, if it is written in the link you opened (for example a QR code with «?da=maker-faire» or a campaign), and the page you signed up from;
  • a random invite code we give you to invite colleagues, and the code of the colleague who invited you, if you came from their link.

If you answer the two optional questions after signing up: where you work or study and what worries you about AI, linked to your invite code.

If you type your email in the page footer: we do not store it. We only use it to fill in the sign-up form, which you then complete and send yourself.

If you request a demo for an organisation: full name, work email, organisation, type of organisation, your role, your message if you write one, confirmation that you have read this notice (with its version), the date and where you came from.

We do not collect health data and we do not ask for patient data.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use cookies and we do not use analytics or advertising tools. To make the page work we keep some information in your browser's temporary storage (sessionStorage): where you came from, your invite code after signing up and the email typed in the page footer. It stays on your device and is deleted automatically when you close the tab.

Why and on what legal basis

  • Writing to you with news about LuceMed and inviting you to the first demo trials, if you asked: legal basis your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Replying to an organisation's demo request: legal basis the reply to your request (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Understanding, only in aggregate form, which channels sign-ups come from and how many colleagues invite other colleagues.

Who else processes it on our behalf

  • Supabase: stores the form data, on a server in the European Union (Frankfurt).
  • Cloudflare: publishes the website and, to deliver it to your browser, processes technical data about the visit, such as your IP address.
  • Google (Gmail): if you write to us or we write to you, the correspondence goes through our email inbox.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on to third parties for their own purposes.

For how long

We keep the data until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, and in any case for no more than 24 months from our last communication with you.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object, receive it in a readable format and withdraw your consent, by writing to the contact above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
